Your state
Why it matters.
The certificate, the photo, the proof of payment — losing one costs hours or money you'll never get back. A backup habit is one evening, once.
The component skills.
Practise — activities that produce artifacts.
Build the folder spine ~40 min
Create folders you can hold in your head: by year, then area, then event. Move ten stray files home. Rename anything called 'final_final'.
Artifact: The folder structure + ten files rehomed
Prove the backup works ~35 min
Set up one automatic backup (cloud or drive). Then restore one file from it — an untested backup is a rumour, not a backup.
Artifact: The restored file + the proof screenshot
Missions — do it for real.
Mentors for this capability.
Matched from real, opted-in Lifelong Careers members through the Mentor Intelligence Network — with their trust states shown as stored. Source-listed is not the same as verified.
No opted-in mentors match this capability yet — none are invented. See the Mentors view or the full directory.
How assessment works.
Every submission gets a transparent first-pass against the mission's rubric — what was looked for and what was observed. Verified state requires a real review; the system never upgrades self-reported evidence on its own.
evidence_quality
An observable artifact: worksheet, receipt, photo reference, recording note
follow_through
What happened afterwards — the result and what changed
process_correctness
Steps done in a sensible order, nothing skipped
Accepted evidence: mission_submission, mentor_review, observed_application, work_sample.
Stated plainly — what this doesn't do
- — Submissions are private, self-reported evidence — they never become verified without a real review.
- — Mentor review for capabilities arrives in a later phase of this module.
