Your state
Why it matters.
Great products die quietly two streets away from the people who needed them. Telling the right hundred people is a skill, not luck.
The component skills.
Practise — activities that produce artifacts.
The one-sentence offer ~25 min
Write what you sell, for whom, at what price, in one sentence a neighbour could repeat. Test it on three people — do they get it without you explaining?
Artifact: The tested one-sentence offer
Two channels, one week ~90 min
Choose the two channels your customers actually use (WhatsApp status, local board, market stall, one group). Post your offer in both for one week and count enquiries.
Artifact: The two-week push log with enquiry counts
Missions — do it for real.
Mentors for this capability.
Matched from real, opted-in Lifelong Careers members through the Mentor Intelligence Network — with their trust states shown as stored. Source-listed is not the same as verified.
No opted-in mentors match this capability yet — none are invented. See the Mentors view or the full directory.
How assessment works.
Every submission gets a transparent first-pass against the mission's rubric — what was looked for and what was observed. Verified state requires a real review; the system never upgrades self-reported evidence on its own.
accuracy
Concrete numbers, units and exact values instead of vague amounts
evidence_quality
An observable artifact: worksheet, receipt, photo reference, recording note
follow_through
What happened afterwards — the result and what changed
self_awareness
Honest signals: what you noticed, what was hard, what you'd change
Accepted evidence: mission_submission, mentor_review, observed_application, work_sample.
Stated plainly — what this doesn't do
- — Submissions are private, self-reported evidence — they never become verified without a real review.
- — Mentor review for capabilities arrives in a later phase of this module.
