AI Intelligence

Partially live — in active development

Explore what may happen next—without confusing forecasts with facts.

Estimate future outcomes with calibrated evidence and uncertainty

Predictive Intelligence uses historical and current signals to estimate possible future outcomes. In a human capital context, it may support skill-demand projections, pathway exploration, learning progress estimates, talent pipeline scenarios or workforce indicators. Predictions are probabilistic and depend on data quality, population relevance, assumptions and changing conditions.

Partially live — in active development

Use forecasts to examine scenarios and prepare for uncertainty, with the assumptions and limits visible alongside every result.

Readiness scoring and matching confidence are live; deeper outcome forecasting is in active development.

In depth

01

From observation to estimate

A predictive service identifies a target outcome, defines the relevant population and time horizon, selects suitable features and evaluates model performance against held-out or prospective data. A forecast should be tied to a specific question, such as expected demand for a skill family in a defined region over a stated period.

02

Uncertainty belongs in the result

Present ranges, confidence or prediction intervals where statistically appropriate, plus the forecast horizon and key assumptions. Avoid false precision. Explain that an estimate describes patterns in data and cannot guarantee an individual’s outcome or future labor-market conditions.

03

Population and data relevance

A model trained on one geography, sector or period may not generalize to another. Display the population and date range used, data freshness, known coverage gaps and material limitations. Avoid presenting aggregate trends as a deterministic prediction about a specific person.

04

Scenario exploration

Users may compare alternative assumptions—such as different adoption rates, investment levels or learning pathways—where the model supports scenario analysis. Clearly distinguish scenario outputs from observed data and published forecasts.

05

Monitoring and recalibration

Track calibration, error, drift, subgroup performance and changing data coverage. Set thresholds for review, retraining or withdrawal. Maintain model versions and reproducible evaluation records so users can understand when an estimate was produced.

Frequently asked questions

Is a prediction a guarantee?

No. It is an estimate conditioned on data, model, assumptions and time horizon.

Can I see what shaped the forecast?

The interface should expose supported drivers, assumptions, scope and uncertainty.
