Loading your log…
This log is deduplicated per day and capped at the most recent entries. It records what was shown — never conclusions about you.
What the log records — and what it never does.
Recommendation History records what Lifelong Careers has shown you — what appeared, when, and the reason attached at the time. It is accountability for the system's outputs, not a profile of you.
Your history
A dated, readable list of the recommendations presented to you, capped to the recent window and deduplicated per day so repeats don't pad the log. What you see here is what the system showed — nothing retro-edited.
Why it was suggested
Every entry carries the reason that was attached at display time, in human-readable terms — the goal, skill or activity it answered. Reasons cite underlying signals, never opaque scores, and never protected-trait inference.
Evidence and limitations
Where a reason rests on thin evidence — few signals, narrow coverage, stale data — the log says so. Uncertainty is acknowledged rather than smoothed, so you can judge how much weight to give each recommendation.
Statuses and history
Entries persist as records of what was shown; they aren't quietly rewritten when the underlying data changes. When something is corrected, the correction flows through Data Corrections — with a person reading every challenge.
Revisit and feedback
Useful entries can be acted on; each recommendation carries quick feedback — helpful, or not for me — which is logged as your input. Feedback changes what is surfaced for you, not what the record says you were shown.
Privacy and access
This log is private to you and your signed-in sessions. It exists so recommendations can be inspected — not for marketing, and never for decisions about you made without your knowledge.
Controls, correction and guidance
Personalisation responds to the preferences you keep in your profile and the Notification Centre switches. If a recommendation is wrong, challenge it in Data Corrections — a person reviews every challenge and applied corrections flow back into the product. For anything consequential, pair the log with human guidance.
How this works.
Every time Lifelong Careers recommends something, the entry lands here — dated, deduplicated per day, capped to the recent window.
Each entry carries the reason attached at the time — what in your profile or activity produced it.
Read it as a log, not a profile: it records what was shown, never conclusions about you.
Stated plainly — what this doesn't do
- — The log records what was shown and why — not inferences, scores or conclusions about you as a person.
- — Older entries roll off the window; this is a recent-history log, not an archive.
- — If a recommendation looks wrong, challenge it in Data Corrections — a person reads every challenge.
Questions people ask.
Can I delete entries?
The log is a system-of-record view and rolls off with age; what you can always do is challenge a recommendation and have it reviewed by a person.
Why does the same thing repeat?
It shouldn't — entries are deduplicated per day. Repeats across days usually mean the underlying reason hasn't changed yet.
Who else can see this log?
Only you. It exists so recommendations can be inspected, not to profile you.
Recommendations you can audit.
Shown, dated, reasoned — and challengeable when wrong. That's what trust looks like in a system.
